Blayze & Thunder are female songwriters/rappers/ singers from Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Blayze (24) born in Jakarta, Indonesia and Thunder (21) born in Luanda, Angola grew up in Rotterdam. They hooked up together because of their love for music and have been in the music scenes since 2004.
Their music is inspired by their own life experiences and all the things that they go through.
In the earlier years they used to be in a group called Dirty Tonguez consisting of different nationality members; Young Payne, Blayng, Thunder, Blayze, Kash and Xtaz. They recorded tracks, did some performances but it was hard maintaining the group together. The group split up in 2006 and everybody continued doing their own music projects.
However, Blayze & Thunder stayed together continued their friendships and producing music. Their music is a mix of everything; there's obviously rap, a bit of reggae dancehall, a bit of house, a bit of R&B just a little bit of everything!
At the moment they are currently busy recording and finishing their first album together which is due to be finished in the summer of 2010. They are working hard, producing their own tracks with helps of different producers in Rotterdam and trying to promote themselves as they currently unsigned artists. hero
